About the festival
The Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) is one of Australia’s leading public art events, dedicated to creating opportunities for artists and communities to connect through collaboration and cultural exchange. Since its inception in 2016, the festival has grown into a major platform for street art, transforming Brisbane into a city-wide canvas each year.
The 2025 edition marks the festival’s 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of murals, exhibitions, workshops, and events that have shaped the city’s creative identity. The mural program welcomes both international and Australian artists, working alongside local talent to reimagine some of Brisbane’s most iconic sites with vibrant public art.
BSAF also established Superordinary Northshore, an immersive arts precinct in a repurposed industrial space that serves as the festival’s central hub. Through large-scale exhibitions, panel discussions, and an inclusive workshop program, BSAF continues to celebrate the richness and diversity of Brisbane’s creative community.
