The Darwin Street Art Festival (DSAF), established in 2017, brings vibrant public art to the tropical city of Darwin, situated on Larrakia land in Northern Australia. The festival celebrates the creativity of local, national, and international artists, transforming the streets into an open-air gallery for residents and visitors to enjoy.

DSAF is produced by Proper Creative, a partnership between artists David Collins and Jesse Bell, who draw on Darwin’s rich history of graffiti and street art. Funded by the Northern Territory Government through Activate Darwin and supported by other sponsors, the festival has become a key cultural event in the city.

Over the years, DSAF has fostered community engagement, cultural exchange, and artistic collaboration, making the city’s public spaces a canvas for creative expression. By connecting artists with the local community, the festival continues to energize Darwin, attracting thousands of visitors annually and highlighting the city’s dynamic artistic identity.
