Le MUR de Mouans-Sartoux

Founded in June 2017, Le MUR de Mouans-Sartoux is dedicated to promoting contemporary urban art on the French Riviera, supporting both street art and graffiti. The association encourages artistic research and creation through events while making art accessible to a wide audience, from experts to casual observers.

In just two years, Le MUR has built a strong community of 20 members, regular volunteers, and many occasional helpers, strengthened by monthly Street-Art Cafés and chalk festivals across Alpes-Maritimes. The MUR itself has become a central hub for street art in the region, hosting events that remain free to ensure accessibility for all.

Its founders, experienced participants in major international festivals like NuArt, Melbourne Street Art, and The Crystal Ship, recognized the isolation of local artists and enthusiasts. Le MUR aims to connect these communities, creating a more vibrant and collaborative urban art scene on the Côte d’Azur.
