Mahé Ocean Murals 2026

Seychelles

PangeaSeed is a nonprofit organization founded in 2010 that pioneers the intersection of contemporary art and ocean conservation. Through large-scale public art projects, exhibitions, and educational programs, PangeaSeed uses creativity as a tool to raise awareness about urgent environmental issues affecting the ocean.

By collaborating with artists, scientists, and local communities around the world, PangeaSeed translates complex ocean science into powerful visual storytelling that is accessible, emotional, and impactful. Their work aims to increase ocean literacy, build empathy, and inspire people to take action to protect marine ecosystems.

Mahé Ocean Murals is a public art and community engagement project led by PangeaSeed in partnership with Save Our Seas Foundation. The project brings together local and international mural artists, marine scientists, and community members to create large-scale murals in Victoria, Seychelles. Through a ridge-to-reef perspective, the murals explore the deep connections between land, people, and ocean health, highlighting conservation issues while celebrating Seychelles’ unique marine environment.
