MURAL FESTIVAL

MURAL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making street art accessible to the public. Its flagship event, MURAL Festival, takes place every June along Montreal’s Saint-Laurent Boulevard, transforming the area into a dynamic outdoor gallery. The festival features large-scale murals, live music performances, digital installations, and technology-driven exhibitions, creating a multi-sensory experience for visitors.

Beyond the main festival, MURAL produces additional murals and special events throughout the year across Montreal and other regions of Quebec, fostering community engagement and promoting urban art in diverse contexts.

Recognized as a leading voice in the promotion of street art, MURAL has received multiple awards, including the Grand Prix du tourisme de Montréal (2014, 2016, 2019), the Prix Idea (2021), the Grand Prix du design (2022), and the Sponsorship Marketing Award (2022). Through its initiatives, MURAL continues to make street art a visible, celebrated, and accessible cultural force in Montreal and beyond.
