Nort West Wall

Since 2014, North West Walls has transformed the heart of Rock Werchter festival in Belgium into a monumental outdoor gallery. Each year, a towering sculpture of stacked shipping containers is reimagined by six internationally selected street artists, creating an ever-changing canvas visible to thousands of festival-goers.

Curated by contemporary artist Arne Quinze, the installation is more than a backdrop, it is a dynamic space where art interacts with music, culture, and the public. Over the past decade, North West Walls has become a landmark for artistic experimentation, showcasing diverse styles while remaining accessible and open to all.

The project celebrates collaboration, creativity, and the evolving nature of street art, emphasizing its place in public and festival spaces. In 2025, North West Walls marks its 10th anniversary, continuing its mission to bring large-scale urban art to unexpected spaces and inspire audiences with vibrant, transformative experiences.
