Stencilbilty Festival
Estonia
Open Call Deadline:
Festival Date:
11 - 15 June 2025
Stencibility is an international street art festival held in Tartu, Estonia, since 2010. Celebrated as one of Europe’s longest-running street art events, it embraces the full spectrum of urban expression, from stickers, stencils, and paste-ups to spontaneous interventions. Rather than focusing on large murals, Stencibility emphasizes creative freedom: artists are given walls and complete autonomy, with no pre-approved sketches or rigid plans, resulting in unfiltered, authentic street art.
The festival experiments with formats, hosting Europe’s biggest sticker exhibitions, turning abandoned buildings into galleries, running underground markets, street art jams, workshops, and guided tours. Each year, Stencibility welcomes artists from across Europe, transforming the city and engaging the public with fresh, dynamic creations. Over the years, it has left more than 150 works across Tartu and brought traveling exhibitions like Hello Mister Police Officer to Berlin, Aberdeen, Tallinn, and other Estonian towns. Stencibility champions independent expression, community engagement, and the evolution of street art as a living, interactive practice.
