Organised by Kolaborasi Dunia Tangi Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to public art, the Tangi Street Art Festival was established in 2023 by a collective of artists from Bali, Indonesia. The festival emerged from a shared passion for street art and the vision to build a dynamic, supportive community for artists. Its first edition highlighted the vibrancy of Bali’s street art scene, uniting local and international artists to transform public spaces into living canvases.

Guided by the values of cultural exchange, personal expression, and artistic exploration, the festival creates opportunities for artists to collaborate and engage directly with the public. Through murals, interventions, and community activities, Tangi not only enlivens the streets with colour but also fosters dialogue, connection, and new perspectives. With each edition, the festival continues to expand its reach, strengthening Bali’s role as a hub for contemporary street art in Southeast Asia.
